JWF Chicago offers three grant opportunities:
Annual Grants: One-year funding open to all applicants who meet JWF Chicago’s overall eligibility requirements and are committed to improving the lives of women and girls. These are the majority of JWF Chicago grants awarded each year. Multiyear Grants : Three-year consecutive funding open to current JWF Chicago grantees and/or organizations previously funded by JWF Chicago in any of the past three grant cycles (since 2022). Innovation Grants: One-year funding open to start-up organizations in operation for three years or less or existing organizations instituting a pilot project not yet in operation using innovative initiatives to improve the lives of women and girls.

Letters of Intent must be submitted via the online application system by 12:00 PM Central Time on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Proposals, including all supplemental materials, must be submitted via the online application system by 12:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. Note that proposals are by invitation only.

To complete your LOI or proposal, click on the green "Start" button for your existing application. Then, click on each of the items listed under "Your tasks". You must complete all items in the task list before you can submit your proposal.
To give your colleagues access to this application, click "Add Collaborator" in the sidebar to the left of the screen. Note that all confirmation emails will be sent to the "owner" of the submission. Collaborators can be given access to view & edit or view only. You may add as many collaborators as you like. Your colleague will receive an email from SurveyMonkey Apply to accept the invitation. To submit your report or application, you must click the green "Submit" button in the sidebar to the left of the screen. If you do not receive a confirmation email from SurveyMonkey Apply, you have not yet completed your submission. You may view and edit each item in the Task list prior to submission. To preview the application in its entirety, select "preview". Select "back to application" in the top left corner to return to your application.
Please note that after your application is submitted, you will no longer be able to edit or make changes. You will always be able to view your completed application, but we encourage you to save it in your records for future reference. To download your application, click on the three dots and select "download".
Click on "My Applications" in the top right corner of the screen to navigate between applications associated with your account.
