Mazel Tov! You were nominated for 18 Under 18. To be considered for the award, you must complete this application by December 3rd at 11:59 PM. We encourage you to keep a draft of your responses outside the system in case there are any technical glitches.

18 Under 18 honors leaders and changemakers in our community who are inspired by their Jewish values. This application asks about the aspects to the honor: your impact action, leadership, impacting your community, and your Jewish involvement.

Honorees are expected to:

  • Attend the Honoree reception on Sunday, January 26th in the afternoon.
  • Attend the Teen Community Celebration the evening of May 4th where the honorees will be publicly recognized and share about their impact projects.
  • Attend a small group virtual check-in in mid-March to check in on progress and hear about peer actions. Multiple times will be available.
  • Attend a virtual check-in in April to finalize Teen Community Celebration expectations and work on deliverables. Multiple times will be available.
  • Meet with an assigned mentor 2-3 times at mutually convenient times to help you progress your project and get ready for the Teen Community Celebration.
  • Work on your defined impact project independently. We anticipate honorees will spend 1-3 hours per month February-May depending on the type of action you select.

You also will be recognized in print and online applications.

To start filling out the application, click the “Apply” button on the right side of the screen. We recommend writing answers in a separate document and pasting them in. You can refer to the PDF we emailed for the full list of questions.
